Terms of Service
Effective June 9, 2026 · Last updated October 23, 2026
Truseta is a wealth tracking and organizational tool. It is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, bank, custodian, accountant or law firm, and nothing in the product, including anything produced by its AI assistant Quinn, is financial, investment, tax, legal or estate advice. These Terms contain a binding arbitration agreement and class-action waiver (Section 18), disclaimers of warranty and limits on our liability that affect your rights. Please read them.
1Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, logging into or using Truseta (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy and our AI and Data Disclaimer, each of which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and Truseta Corporation (“Truseta,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a Florida corporation. When you accept them during account setup, we record the version you accepted and the date and time, and that record is our evidence of your agreement.
If you use the Service on behalf of a family office, trust, company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” includes it. You are responsible for everyone you give access to your workspace.
2Description of the service
Truseta is a private wealth command center that lets you aggregate, organize, track and analyze financial information across accounts, asset classes, entities and documents. The Service may include:
- Aggregation of connected financial accounts through third-party data providers such as Plaid and Coinbase
- Manual tracking of assets, liabilities, investments, real estate and entity structures
- Document storage pointers, classification and AI-assisted data extraction, with files kept in your own Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive
- Portfolio analytics, performance calculations, scenario valuations and net-worth reporting
- Entity books, household cash flow, K-1 and tax-document tracking, donations and gifts, renewals and a compliance calendar
- Quinn, an AI assistant, and other AI features described in Section 4
- Advisor portals and shared workspaces with area-by-area permissions
- Email digests, alerts and notifications you enable
Features vary by plan and may be added, changed, suspended or discontinued at any time, subject to Section 20 for material changes to these Terms. Some features are offered as beta or preview and may be withdrawn or changed without notice.
3Not advice; no professional relationship
Truseta is a software tool for organizing and tracking financial information. It is not a registered investment adviser under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 or any state law, and it is not a broker-dealer, custodian, bank, trust company, insurance company, tax preparer, accountant, law firm or financial planner. It does not hold, move or custody any assets and does not execute transactions.
No content, data, analytics, calculation, document extraction, AI output, email, alert or feature within the Service constitutes investment, financial, tax, legal, accounting or estate advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security or asset, or to make or forgo any election, filing, gift or payment. Nothing in the Service is an offer of any security or product.
Using the Service does not create a fiduciary, advisory, attorney-client, accountant-client or other professional relationship between you and Truseta. You should consult your own licensed financial adviser, CPA and attorney before making financial, tax, legal or estate decisions, and you agree that you will not act on anything the Service shows you without confirming it with your own advisers and the institutions that hold your assets. The AI and Data Disclaimer explains this in full and is part of these Terms.
4Artificial intelligence features
4.1 What AI does in the Service
Quinn and other features use large language models and related technology from third-party providers (by default Anthropic; others such as OpenAI, xAI or ElevenLabs if your workspace selects them) to answer questions, summarize, draft, classify, extract data from documents and messages, evaluate private investments, and surface items that may need attention. If you connect your own AI assistant (such as Claude or ChatGPT) to your workspace, that assistant reads your data through the permissions you grant, under your own agreement with its provider.
4.2 AI output can be wrong
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, misattributed, miscalculated or fabricated, and may misread documents or confuse entities, years or amounts. It is not reviewed by a person before you see it and is not verified against your custodians, filings or advisers. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI output before relying on it, and you agree that you use AI features at your own risk.
4.3 Your inputs and AI providers
To provide AI features, we transmit your prompts, relevant workspace context and the documents or messages you ask the Service to read to the applicable AI provider for processing, as described in the Privacy Policy and the AI and Data Disclaimer. Our agreements with the AI providers we contract with prohibit them from training their models on your data. Providers you connect yourself are governed by your own terms with them, which we do not control and for which we are not responsible.
4.4 Changes and availability
We may change, replace, suspend or remove AI models, providers and features at any time. AI features depend on third-party services whose availability, behaviour and terms we do not control. You may limit or turn off AI features in Settings; doing so removes the features that depend on them.
4.5 Prohibited uses of AI features
You may not use AI features to generate unlawful, infringing or harmful content, to attempt to extract model weights or training data, to circumvent safety measures, or to develop a competing product.
5Account access and eligibility
5.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that your use complies with all laws that apply to you.
5.2 Invitation-only access
Truseta is available by invitation or approved application only. We may approve or decline any application and may revoke access at any time at our discretion.
5.3 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Multi-factor authentication is required. You must notify us immediately at security@truseta.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account that results from your failure to protect your credentials, your devices, your email account or your second factor.
5.4 Your devices, networks and email
The security of the devices, browsers, networks and email accounts you use to access the Service is your responsibility. Phishing, malware, a compromised email account or a shared device can expose your data regardless of the protections we apply, and we are not responsible for loss that results from them.
5.5 One person per login
Each login is for one individual. You may not share credentials. The only ways to give another person access are the shared-workspace and advisor-portal features described in Section 8.
6Your data, your records
6.1 Ownership
You own the financial data, documents and content you upload, link or enter into the Service. We claim no ownership of your personal financial data.
6.2 License to us
You grant Truseta a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to store, process, transmit, display and create derived calculations from your data as necessary to operate, secure, support and improve the Service, including sending it to the third-party providers described in Section 7. This license ends when your account is closed and deletion is complete, except for backups within their rotation cycle and records we must keep by law.
6.3 Accuracy
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of data you enter, import or link. We do not verify it. Data from connected institutions and other third parties may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated or incorrect, and we are not responsible for it or for decisions made in reliance on it.
6.4 Not a system of record; keep your own records
The Service is an organizational and analytical tool. It is not the official record of any account, holding, transaction, filing or legal document, and it is not a backup service. Your custodians, banks, fund administrators, accountants and filed documents remain the authoritative records. You agree to keep your own copies of important documents and data and not to rely on the Service as your only copy.
6.5 Data export
You can export your workspace from Settings at any time, and you may request a full export from us, which we will provide within 10 business days. See Section 17.
7Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party services, including Plaid (account aggregation), Coinbase (crypto balances), Google and Microsoft (email and document storage you connect), AI providers (Section 4), Supabase and Amazon Web Services (database, authentication and storage), Vercel (hosting), Twilio SendGrid (email delivery), price and market-data sources, and error-monitoring tools. Your use of a connected service is also governed by that service’s own terms and privacy policy.
Truseta does not control third-party services and is not responsible or liable for their availability, accuracy, security, acts, omissions, outages, data practices, changes in terms, or any security incident, breach or loss that occurs at or because of a third-party service, including a financial institution, data aggregator, cloud provider, AI provider or email or document provider.
7.1 Plaid and financial institutions
By connecting an account through Plaid, you authorize Plaid to access your financial account data on your behalf and share it with Truseta, and you agree to Plaid’s end-user terms. Truseta never receives your bank credentials. You can disconnect accounts at any time; disconnecting does not delete already-synced history, which you can ask us to delete.
7.2 Google and Microsoft
If you connect Google (Gmail and Drive) or Microsoft 365 (Outlook and OneDrive), Truseta uses that provider’s OAuth to obtain the permissions you grant and stores the resulting tokens encrypted. We never receive your Google or Microsoft password. The product reads mail you direct it to, leaves drafts in your own mailbox, and reads or writes folders you point it at; it does not send mail from your account. Your documents stay in your own Drive or OneDrive. Our use of Google user data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements; details, disconnect and deletion are in the Privacy Policy. You can disconnect in Settings or revoke Truseta from your Google or Microsoft account at any time.
7.3 Availability
We do not guarantee the continuous availability of any integration. If a third-party service becomes unavailable, changes its terms or pricing, or ends our access, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you but are not liable for the resulting loss of functionality or data.
8Advisors, co-users and CPA access
You may give named people access to your workspace: advisors, accountants and attorneys through the advisor portal, and a spouse or team members through shared workspaces, each limited to the areas and permissions you choose. All such access is logged.
You are solely responsible for the people you invite, the permissions you grant them and everything they do with that access, including anything they view, copy, change, export or share. Truseta is not responsible for their acts or omissions, for the advice they give, or for their handling of your information once they have it. Revoke access as soon as it is no longer needed.
9Security and data incidents
9.1 Our safeguards
We implement administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, per-family encryption of sensitive fields, database-level separation of each family’s data, mandatory multi-factor authentication, logged access and least-privilege operations. The Securitypage and the Privacy Policy describe them.
9.2 No guarantee
No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot and do not guarantee that your data will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, lost or destroyed by a breach of our safeguards, by a third-party service, by malware, by social engineering, or by misuse of your credentials, devices or email. You acknowledge that you provide your information at your own risk, and that the limitations in Section 14 apply to security incidents and data breaches.
9.3 If an incident occurs
If we determine that a security incident has affected your personal information, we will notify you without undue delay and within the time required by applicable law, describe what we know about what happened and what we are doing about it, and cooperate reasonably with you. You agree to cooperate with us, to change credentials when asked, and to tell us promptly about any incident you become aware of on your side.
10Subscription and payment
10.1 Fees
Access to Truseta requires a paid subscription unless we agree otherwise in writing. Current pricing is published at truseta.com/pricing. All fees are in US dollars.
10.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on the cycle you select and processed by our third-party payment processor. By providing payment information you authorize the applicable charges on that cycle.
10.3 Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time except where required by law or stated in Section 17.
10.4 Price changes
We will give at least 30 days’ notice before increasing fees. Continued use after the change takes effect is acceptance of the new pricing.
11Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms. You may not:
- Use the Service in a way that violates applicable law, including anti-money-laundering, sanctions, securities or tax laws
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, models or prompts from the Service
- Use scripts, bots or scrapers to access or extract data from the Service other than through features we provide
- Attempt to access another user’s account or data, or test or probe the Service’s security without our written permission
- Transmit malware or harmful code, or disrupt, overload or impair the Service
- Resell, sublicense or make the Service available to third parties except through the sharing features we provide
- Use output from the Service to build a competing product or to train machine-learning models without our written consent
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Upload content you do not have the right to upload, or that infringes another person’s rights
Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.
12Intellectual property
The Truseta name, logo, product design, software, models of analysis and documentation are owned by Truseta Corporation or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Service for your own wealth management during your subscription, and no other rights.
You keep all rights to your data as described in Section 6. Aggregated, de-identified usage and analytics data from which no person or family can be identified may be used by Truseta to operate and improve the Service. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
13Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Truseta disclaims all warranties, express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, that the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components, or that your data will not be lost, altered, intercepted or accessed without authorization. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any data, calculation, document extraction or AI output in the Service, including data received from financial institutions, aggregators, price sources and other third parties.
Financial calculations, including net worth, returns, IRR, MOIC, scenario valuations and tax estimates, are mathematical outputs based on data you provide or that is synced from third parties. They are not audited figures, professional appraisals, certified valuations or tax positions. You assume all risk associated with reliance on them and on any beta or preview feature.
14Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Truseta and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, suppliers and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business or opportunity, or the cost of substitute services, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or any other theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, without limitation, damages arising from (a) any error, inaccuracy or omission in data, calculations, document extraction or AI output; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers, the servers of our third-party providers, or any personal or financial information stored on them, including any security incident or data breach; (c) any interruption, suspension or cessation of the Service or any integration; (d) any bugs, viruses or other harmful code transmitted to or through the Service by any third party; (e) the acts or omissions of any third-party provider, financial institution, advisor, co-user or other user; and (f) any decision you make or action you take in reliance on the Service.
In no event shall Truseta’s total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Truseta in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).
These limitations are fundamental elements of the basis of the bargain between you and Truseta and apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages, including liability for gross negligence, fraud or willful misconduct; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
15Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Truseta and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, suppliers and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms or of any law; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual-property, privacy or contractual rights; (d) data or content you or anyone you authorize submits to the Service; (e) the acts or omissions of advisors, co-users or others you give access to your workspace; (f) your connection of any third-party account or service to the Service; or (g) any dispute between you and a third party, including an advisor, institution or AI provider. We may assume the exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you will cooperate with us.
16Release
If you have a dispute with an advisor, co-user, financial institution, data provider, AI provider or other third party arising out of or relating to the Service, you release Truseta and its officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents from all claims, demands and damages of every kind, known or unknown, arising out of or connected with that dispute, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
17Termination and data export
17.1 Termination by you
You may close your account at any time from Settings or by contacting Truseta Support. Export your data first; we will also provide a full export on request within 10 business days.
17.2 Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, legal or security reasons, or at our discretion. Where reasonably possible and not prohibited by law we will give advance notice. If we terminate for reasons other than your violation of these Terms, we will refund prepaid fees for the unused period.
17.3 Effect of termination
On termination your right to use the Service ends. We will delete your personal data within 30 days of closure, subject to the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy and to backups within their rotation cycle. Documents stored in your own Google Drive or OneDrive are yours and are not deleted by us.
Sections 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12 through 16, 18 and 19 survive termination.
18Governing law, arbitration and class-action waiver
18.1 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the Federal Arbitration Act, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
18.2 Informal resolution first
Before starting arbitration or any proceeding, you agree to contact us at legal@truseta.com with a description of the dispute and give us 60 days to resolve it informally. We will do the same before bringing a claim against you.
18.3 Binding arbitration
Except as provided in Section 18.5, any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, including its existence, validity or termination, shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (or Commercial Arbitration Rules if you are a business), before a single arbitrator. The arbitration will take place in Palm Beach County, Florida, or by video conference, and the arbitrator’s award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. The arbitrator, not a court, decides questions of arbitrability.
18.4 Class-action and jury-trial waiver
You and Truseta agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims of more than one person. To the extent any claim proceeds in court rather than arbitration, you and Truseta each waive any right to a jury trial.
18.5 Exceptions and opt-out
Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court to protect intellectual property or the security of the Service. You may opt out of the arbitration agreement in Section 18.3 and the class waiver in Section 18.4 by emailing legal@truseta.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your account email and that you opt out; if you do, the courts in Palm Beach County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
18.6 Time limit on claims
To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought within one year after it arose, or it is permanently barred.
19General terms
- Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the AI and Data Disclaimer are the entire agreement between you and Truseta about the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
- Severability: if any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect and the provision is enforced to the greatest extent permitted.
- No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
- Force majeure: we are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party services, internet failures, cyber-attacks, labor disputes, government action, natural disasters or pandemic.
- Electronic communications: you consent to receive notices, disclosures and agreements electronically, by email or within the Service, and agree that they satisfy any requirement that they be in writing.
- Export and sanctions: you represent that you are not located in, and are not a national of, a country or region subject to US embargo, and are not on any US government restricted-party list.
- No third-party beneficiaries: these Terms create no rights in anyone other than you and Truseta, except the persons indemnified or released in Sections 15 and 16.
- Headings and interpretation: headings are for convenience; “including” means “including without limitation.”
20Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the AI and Data Disclaimer. For material changes, including changes to the limitation of liability, dispute resolution or your data rights, we will notify you by email or in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect, and we may ask you to read and accept the updated documents before continuing to use the Service. Your continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree, close your account before the effective date.
